Please do me a favor and enjoy the celebration. Try to not get caught up in the presents stuff.
Our Thanksgiving was bitter/sweet. We had both sides of the family over (38 in all). It was a great time and, as usual, the food was fantastic. The left over deserts have now been eaten. So, weight loss is now on my mind. That’s the sweet part. The sad part is, that was the last time Thanksgiving will be at our house. We WILL be gone before next Thanksgiving!!! Time to start a new tradition.
What else can I say, but that things are going great! We visited many churches over the last 2 months and have been well received. I have truly enjoyed ministering all over southern New England. We are now over half way to reaching our budget and much of my calendar is filled in 09. We are starting to contact AG missions Headquarter to get the timetable in order to leave. There is much to be done.
On the family front: Renee has applied for the college she wants to go to. Boston has her heart. She’s done great in her first trimester at PCD, best ever!! Rachel is coming home from China next week. It will be great to HUG her! Carol is finishing up with her teaching at URI and is looking forward to having Tuesday’s off for a month. Between that and Westerly Hospital she has a full work load. I know she’s getting excited about having Rachel and Renee on vacation. I’m excited to. Also, when the kids are off like this, Carol always cooks their favorite foods, which of course will have me thinking about more weight loss!
Many Blessings. INDONESIAorBUST!!! |
